Gen 2

This almost sounds like Gen 1 and Gen 2 are completely disconnected. If you were to just start reading in verse 4 of Gen 2 you would see everything take place that happens in Gen 1 just not in the same order. The earth gets created, it gets flora and fauna and man. Just not in that order. It says that when God created man nothing else was on the earth. So for me this begs the question: which account is right? I know that technically both are right but I don't have the knowledge and the exegetical know how to make the distinctions I need to make but I can recognize the difference. Towards the end of Gen 2 when woman is created Adam says "at last", it almost seems that he was waiting on God to create her. The rivers are also a subject that has been well researched it just seems that to me the geographical location of the Garden of Eden would be around Kuwait and the Persian Gulf. That's just my opinion. I guess that's what the whole idea of a blog is, to convey your opinion.
